Invader Karts
One of three major US kart manufacturers

Both Matt and Jess Peterson ran Invaders for years, mainly in the Yamaha classes. We've driven a lot of karts over the years and have found that the Invaders are very adjustable and can easily adapt to loose or sticky track conditions. Jeff Nelson, Mr. Invader, is a life-long karter with a reputation for innovative and unique chassis designs. His current headquaters is at Cal-Kart in San Jose, California. In 2002 Matt Peterson won all 3 Sportsman Duffys at the IKF Nationals. Jess Peterson did the same in 2003 and Cole Nelson duplicated the feat in 2004 - all on Invader Chassis. In 2006 Invaders were still winning Duffys.

Cole Nelson at Dixon

Cole Nelson is pictured testing an Invader at Dixon, Ca. Cole is one of the best drivers in the country. He and his dad, Jeff Nelson, are relentless in their testing program. We've seen Cole drive hundreds of laps a day while testing both shifters and clutch karts. The only break Cole gets is when Jeff is downloading the PI system.
